Aluminum dragon scales for jewelry, chain maille and knitting or crocheting. Sets of 100 scales in the small size which are 9/16 inch by 7/8 inch with a hole size of .22 inch. Scale count is approximate as the scales are bagged by weight. Thickness can vary slightly from .025 to .03 of an inch. You will sometimes find a rough edge on the scales, usually at the tip (seems to happen more often with the black ones, rare with the other colors). 10 Colors Available! See my other listings. If using for knit gauntlets, most patterns require 2 bags for the fist sized mitts, 3 bags for the wrist length and 4 bags for the long length.
